Christmas classics - gingerbread cookie
Gingerbread cookies fill the house with the aroma of spices and pastries, and the soul with a sense of comfort and celebration. Therefore, rather, keep yourself three excellent and proven recipes for this wonderful dessert and on holidays (or maybe even without much reason) please your loved ones with this fragrant delicacy.
We bring to your attention three technologies for the preparation of ginger cookies - with powdered sugar, with brown sugar and with cocoa.
You can use these cookies as a great addition to tea with your family, or as an original gift (especially if you put the curly cookies in a beautiful tin box and accompany it with a cute greeting card with wishes).

With powdered sugar
To make this cookie you will need:
- 175 g of wheat flour;
- a quarter teaspoon of soda;
- a pinch of salt;
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon;
- 1 tsp ginger powder;
- 65 g of good quality butter;
- 75 g of powdered sugar;
- 2 tbsp honey;
- 1 chicken yolk.
In Croatia, for Christmas, small licitari gingerbread cookies are baked and hung on trees.
First of all, sift the flour well and mix it with cinnamon, ginger, soda and salt. Note that the better the flour is sifted, the better the quality of the dough will be! Butter must be held for an hour in the freezer first, and then finely chop into tiny cubes with a sharp knife (which can also be held in the freezer for a bit).
It is important to understand that oil should not melt quickly. Therefore, try to minimize the touch of your hands with oil.

With brown sugar
Based on this technology, you will need the following components:
- 40 g of brown sugar;
- 200 g of honey;
- 1.5 tsp ginger powder;
- 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon;
- 2 tsp soda;
- a quarter teaspoon of salt;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 440 g of flour (wheat or rice can be);
- 115 g of butter.
There are several baking tins museums in the world.
We mix sugar, spices and honey in a small container, bring everything to a boil over medium heat and remove from the stove.
Add soda and mix well until the mass begins to foam. Now you can add softened butter and stir until it dissolves.
The hue of the cookie and its flavor can be changed, experimenting with spices and additives.
When the oil completely interferes with the base for the dough, add the same egg, previously slightly beaten, and mix well. After that, flour (carefully sifted) can be introduced into the base for the dough.

Stir the dough with a silicone spatula and leave it to cool for a while.
You can decorate gingerbread cookies to your taste - there are no uniform canons in this case.
When the dough has cooled, sprinkle a small amount of flour on the work surface and knead the mass with your hands. Then roll it into a layer, the width of which is about 5-6 mm. And cut out the figures.
Put the cookies on a baking sheet covered with parchment or on a silicone baking mat and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
